Tucked away in a traditional 1950's bungalow lake community, you will find Sailing Skies Cottage; the perfect adult only getaway. In less than 5 minutes, enjoy Lake Wallenpaupack and all that the area has to offer. No matter the season, there is something for everyone: boating, swimming, ice skating, kayaking, golfing, river rafting down the Delaware, horseback riding, fishing, hiking, skiing, sightseeing, train excursions, breweries, wineries and more.

Boating / Paddle Boarding

Bring your boat or paddle board or rent one.  There are rental companies locally and the cottage driveway has room to store one medium size boat.

Hiking

Enjoy hiking the many local trails that will bring you to some of the most beautiful local sites.  The cottage is close to Delaware and Promised Lake State Parks & Shuman Point Hiking Trail.

Horseback Riding
Why-Not Riding Stable is located 8 miles away and offers guided trail rides for all levels of experience.
Fishing

Enjoy good times casting lines on Lake Wallenpaupack known for it's excellent year round fishing.  The visitor center loans fishing gear and Wallenpaupack Sports Shop issues licenses.

Dining

Whether you're looking for light fare or a big feast, you will surely find something to please your palette.  The area is filled with plenty of restaurants to choose from.

Skiing & Snow Tubing

A short drive away (30 - 45 minutes), enjoy a day on the slopes at either Big Bear Ski Resort or Shawnee Mountain.

Golfing

Enjoy 18 holes at one of the many local golf courses such as Paupack Hills and Woodloch Springs.

Rafting / Canoeing

Launch from Landers River Trips in Narrowsburg, NY for a day of fun on the majestic Delaware River.  

Shopping

Spend the day browsing  the shops in the Silk Mill, downtown Hawley, or take a drive to historic Milford, PA.

  • Subletting reservation not permitted.

    • For your safety, there are outdoor Ring security cameras monitoring the driveway and outdoor areas.
